This policy explains how DANZUS Holdings LLC, doing business as DimeVision (“DimeVision,” “we,” or “us”), handles personal information through the DimeVision website, app, school features, and related services.
Depending on how you use DimeVision, we may collect:
DimeVision does not use weld images to identify people and does not intentionally collect biometric identifiers. Do not upload faces, identity documents, health information, export-controlled material, or other unnecessary sensitive information.
We use information to provide weld analysis and coaching, save history, operate school and instructor features, administer accounts and subscriptions, communicate with users, support and secure the service, prevent fraud and abuse, troubleshoot problems, develop and improve features, and comply with law. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
We disclose information only as reasonably needed to operate the service, follow school instructions, complete transactions, protect users or DimeVision, or comply with law. Providers may include Google Gemini for AI processing; Supabase for authentication, databases, and file storage; Vercel for hosting; Stripe and Apple for billing; Resend for email; and Twilio for supported messaging. These providers may process data in the United States or other countries.
When a school provides or directs use of DimeVision, the school controls its education records and DimeVision processes those records to provide the contracted service. The school is responsible for notices, permissions, and account eligibility required by its policies and applicable law. DimeVision does not use school-controlled student records for advertising. Schools needing FERPA, state student privacy, security, retention, or deletion commitments should enter into a written school agreement or data protection addendum with DimeVision before deployment.
DimeVision is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly permit a child under 13 to create an independent account. Users under 18 must use DimeVision with permission from a parent, guardian, or authorised school. Contact us if you believe a child provided information without the required authorisation.
Guest history is kept locally on the device. Signed-in history and school records are stored in access-controlled cloud systems. We use encrypted connections, server-side credentials, row-level access rules, request validation, logging, rate limits, and vendor security controls. No service can guarantee absolute security.
Account and weld history are generally retained while an account or school relationship is active. Users may delete individual history in the app or request account deletion. After closure, data is deleted or de-identified within a reasonable period, subject to backups, fraud prevention, active disputes, school instructions, and legal or accounting obligations. Security logs may be retained for up to 12 months, and payment records for the period required by law.
You can clear local history, delete saved welds, revoke camera, microphone, or location permission, cancel a subscription, and request access, correction, export, or deletion of account information. School-managed users should also contact their school because DimeVision may need the school's instruction before changing an education record. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
We may update this policy as DimeVision changes. We will post the current version and update date here. Material changes may also be communicated in the service or by email.
